Do you have tax receipts?
Yes, we will provide you a year-end donation receipt. Please ensure your email and mailing address are up-to-date in Church Center for the smoothest possible delivery.

Organization and Charitable Status
Memorial Baptist Church is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable organization. Each year the church files an Annual Information form with the Charities Directorate in compliance with federal regulations.
Annual budget process
An annual operating budget is prepared for review and analysis by the finance team, staff and Elders. This regular process is fundamental for our financial accountability, transparency, and integrity. God has worked through the budget every year to see MBC used for his glory. The next year’s budget is approved by a membership vote held every December.
Annual audit
MBC retains an independent, local auditor to conduct yearly assessments of its financial statements. These financial statements are audited in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards and prepared in accordance with Canadian accounting standards for not-for-profit organizations.
Confidential donor information
Donor information is kept in strict confidence. This information is kept by our Finance Ministry Team and handled directly by the FMT Secretary. Donor information is not sold, nor is it made available without the prior consent of the donor except where disclosure is required by law.
