Don Dolton

Global Education Ministries (GEM)

Each GEM missionary is trained to weave four threads of the Gospel into each of their lessons: creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. This means that students do not go a day without hearing the Gospel within their classroom. How amazing is that? Not only do they hear the Gospel each day, but they also see it on display all throughout the school. From the way the teachers lead, love, and interact with others, gives them a live example of what it looks like to be transformed by our Savior Jesus Christ.

He serves for Global Education Ministries in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico teaching the Art Curriculum in their school there.

Don is a member of MBC! If you’d like to learn more or support Don, you can visit the link below or contact us at the office.

Julio Farfan

Missionary Ventures Canada (MVC)

Migrant workers are a critical group of people within the Ontario food sector. These workers living long periods of time away from their loved ones and their culture, and they may be experiencing mental health issues, workplace injuries, or encounter difficult situations during their stay.

Our goal at MVC is to provide the opportunities for migrant workers to receive the personal contact, counsel, and help that is often difficult to find in Canadian society. Support is provided tangibly through providing transportation for various medical appointments, their banking needs, legal assistance when needed, conflict resolution, social and mental health assistance, and large group gatherings with other workers (sporting events, etc).

Julio is a member of MBC! If you’d like to know more about his work or get involved, we can connect you with him at the church office.

Eric & Valerie Nielsen

FEB International

Eric and Valerie's exposure to the spiritual reality in Quebec began while students at University of Waterloo, involved in the campus group "Power to Change". Yet it was in 2014 during a vision trip to Montreal that through the testimonies of workers on the ground there, the spiritual need for Jesus among Quebecers became more real than ever before. From that point onward, they believe God put an increasing burden and sense of call on their hearts to move to Quebec for the sake of the gospel.

In partnership with the AEBEQ region of Fellowship churches, Eric and Valerie's mission is to, in reliance on God's power, make disciples of all nations among the next generation of Quebecers. They desire to invest in the lives of young Quebecers in Montreal. Their desire is that these young adults may grow as future disciple-makers of all nations, among whom some would become future church leaders in Quebec.

The Nielsens have a great email newsletter you can have sent directly to your inbox. Contact the office to get connected.

Benjamin & Veronique Desruisseaux

Le Clocher Church (The Bell Tower)

To join, through the gospel, those who are far from God! Their main goal is to engage people in living their Christianity every day.

• Show in Quebec a viable model of mission unit called “Quartier Family”
• Present a reproducible model, as much in their life, in their neighbourhood and in their workplace.
• To have a structure where we can produce leaders accessible to all in a normal life without overloading them.

We support their mission in Quebec, and you can learn more about the francophone ministry below

David & Cathy S

ABWE Canada

ABWE Canada is centred on Jesus and making Him known around the world. We want to see communities of Christ followers worship God, serve others, and grow together, but we do not want to stop there. We desire that these local churches would spawn a global missions movement where local believers are discipled and trained and churches are planted that want to see Christ’s message of redemption continually shared.
